"Why do Gen Z users care about sustainable fashion but still choose fast fashion?"
Despite a massive rise in sustainability awareness, most Indian Gen Z shoppers hesitate to buy second-hand or upcycled items online. The gap lies in trust, aesthetics, usability, and emotional connection.
How can we build an online platform that encourages thrift and sustainable fashion among Indian youth, while also promoting sustainable development goals? The challenge lies in creating a space that not only facilitates buying and selling but also fosters a community centered around creativity, upcycling, and environmental consciousness.
Revibe is a Gen Z-first, AI-powered social platform where users can shop, sell, create, and connect through thrifted, upcycled, and sustainable fashion. It’s more than a marketplace — it’s a creative playground for fashion influencers, sustainability advocates, and emerging designers.
Our mission? To redefine the way India’s youth engages with fashion, transforming passive awareness of sustainability into empowered, stylish action.
Interest-Action Gap: while there's a growing interest in sustainable fashion, actual purchases are limited due to: Scarcity of appealing sustainable options. Limited availability of styles that resonate with Gen Z aesthetics.
